Weekly Letter: Restarting your practice

“It’s the New Year, it’s time to restart my practice.”

No. You are merely continuing a practice that began a time ago. Once you started, it never stopped, you took pauses, but these pauses are the truth inside the practice. They show you how you practice and on occasion give you more information about yourself. These breaks or pauses in your practice are showing you yourself and by recognizing them and not criticizing them, you can start to observe yourself in a real way. Reflect on those pauses, don't excuse them away. What can they tell you?

You only began your practice that one time, the first time. Since, it’s been your yoga lifestyle. At any time, you can change the makeup of it.
